a
sound
resounds
this verb
reverbs
deserves
to rhyme
shatters
sublime
this thing
exists
explains
itself
it knows
to tell
to be
itself
brought
to being
to be
serene
this thing
believes
itself
a being
explains
itself
unto
itself
and sees
the end
as it
begin
a thing
to be
erased
repeats
deletes
accretes
believes
not me

  1. Rather potent and laden; ideas collapsing onto others, like floors of a demolished building. Finality is one of the hardest things to encapsulate in poetry, as we are so prone to dragging and beating. You did amazingly well.
Also, I love your “Desafinado” designation. In my language, it means out-of-tune, although I’m convinced it has the same meaning in Spanish. Judging by this poem, you might not be as atonal as you might think. Be well!
